This Privacy Policy explains how Kzo Lab, LLC ("we," "us"), based in Tampa, Florida, handles information in connection with the URIM mobile application ("URIM," "the app"). We have designed URIM to collect as little as possible.
URIM works from the books you choose to enter. When you name books, receive a reading, or capture a passage, that content is stored so the app can generate your readings and, in future versions, assemble your personal archive. URIM does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or contact details in order to use the app.
To produce a reading, the book information you enter is sent through our secure processing service to an artificial-intelligence provider (Anthropic's Claude) that generates the literary text you see. This information is used to create your reading and is not used by us to identify you.
Like most apps, URIM and its service providers may process limited technical data needed to operate reliably, such as basic device and usage information. The app stores your reading data using Supabase, our database provider, so that your books and readings persist and your future archive can be built.
URIM offers a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited readings. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are managed through RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider. We receive confirmation of whether your unlock is active. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details; those are handled by Apple or Google.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your reading data for advertising.
We share information only with providers that help us operate URIM, including Supabase (data storage), Anthropic (reading generation), RevenueCat (purchase management), and Apple and Google (app distribution and payments). Each processes information on our behalf or as an independent provider under its own terms.
We retain your reading data for as long as it is needed to provide the app and your archive. You may request deletion of your data as described below.
You may request access to, or deletion of, the reading data associated with your use of URIM by contacting us at welcome@urim.studio. You can also delete the app at any time.
URIM is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
